What types of business ideas are eligible for Launch Out Loud Entrepreneur Contest?
- Launch Out Loud seeks innovative small business, non profit, and home based, ventures aimed at creating economic development opportunities, and personal development services for the community at large.*
- Business ideas submitted must clearly demonstrate the economic and personal development impact.
- Launch Out Loud business entries may focus on any subject or market segment area.
- Launch Out Loud business plans are evaluated on three criteria: 1) Effect on the quality of life in one or more developing economies; 2) Financial sustainability; 3) Feasibility of implementation.**
- Launch Out Loud accepts applications for business ideas that do not yet have a business plan or have not yet been implemented. Existing businesses are eligible as long as they adhere to the funding restrictions. See Launch Out Loud Rules and Eligibility.
- Who is eligible to apply to Launch Out Loud?
- Launch out Loud is open to anyone or businesses that is less than 36 months old.
- The Launch Out Loud application is entirely online and consists of an overview of the business idea.
- Professionals may get involved in numerous ways: online application judging, business/team mentoring, competition judging, sponsoring, and as outreach partners.
